Bias power supply, also known as unipolar pulse bias power supply.It is an important component in vacuum arc ion plating and other vacuum physical vapor deposition equipment, providing negative (or positive) bias voltage for the workpiece in the coating process.

Function:

1. Increase the energy of charged particles in vacuum plasma, bombard and clean the surface of the plated workpiece, so that the surface of the workpiece is hit by high-energy particles to obtain a brand new surface layer, thereby improving the bonding force of the subsequent deposited film layer.

2. Increase and control the energy of charged particles in vacuum plasma, and improve the bonding force between the film layer and the workpiece substrate.

3. Change the deposition rules and adjust the color of the film layer by different voltage output polarities or methods.

4. Overcome the problem that the cathode arc discharge caused by high voltage burns the workpiece when the bias power supply works in a vacuum plasma environment.
